Are you accredited to sell your free-range eggs at farmer's market?

Yes, we are an Accredited Market Trader with the VFMA (Victorian Farmers' Markets Association Inc.).

HOW MANY CHICKENS DO YOU HAVE PER HECTARE?

We have 70 livestock per hectare.

WHAT DO YOU FEED YOUR CHICKENS?

We feed our chickens a range of grains, wheat, soy and barley. As they are free-range, they also eat grass, insects and anything else they find in their frolicking ventures. As well as this, our hens have constant access to fresh water.

ARE YOUR EGGS ORGANIC?

As we are a small boutique farm, we’re not certified organic as you need to produce a minimum amount of eggs per month that qualify for certification. However the feed we do give them is free of chemicals and pesticides and is classed as organic feed.

HOW FRESH ARE YOUR EGGS?

As we attend many farmer’s markets every month, the turnover of our egg stock is quite high, therefore we guarantee that our eggs are always fresh when sold. The expiry date on our eggs is 35 days.

CAN WE PURCHASE EGGS DIRECTLY FROM YOUR FARM?

Yes you can, please click here for contact information.

Do you have duck eggs available to purchase at the farmer's markets you attend?

If we have enough duck eggs available, we will bring them to the farmer's markets for purchase, however we can't guarantee that we can bring them to every market. We are currently working on adding more ducks to our farm. If you have any questions, please contact us.
